In November of 2019, Transatlantic Sports Group Inc. (TSG), an international soccer company dedicated to growing the sport on both sides of the Atlantic, and Rush Soccer, a global soccer brand with 40,000 youth players worldwide, announced a joint venture for a United Soccer League (USL) League Two team, formerly known as Daytona Soccer Club, in Daytona Beach, Florida and today is proud to announce their new name and brand identity for the team.
Daytona Rush Soccer Club, now includes ‘Rush,’ a global soccer brand, who in partnership with TSG will funnel elite level competitive players and alumni into this USL team and on to its professional ranks as talent allows.
The redesign of the logo reflects the team’s coastal home and founding companies. Transatlantic Sports Group, Inc. Board Chair and Marketing Committee Member at Daytona Rush, Jen Johns, describes the meaning behind the new design: “The big crashing wave shows the style of our soccer club and reflects our ocean facing community. The sun and sand are a bold Florida gold and the stars near the palm branch represent our connection to our European roots. The blue and gray mirror the official Rush blue and gray. Overall, our new logo represents our club’s pride in Daytona with iconic symbols all within a soccer badge.”
The staff of TSG, Rush Soccer and Daytona Rush are excited to bring a fast-paced and exciting brand of soccer to the area this summer.
