Kansas Rush Wichita is pleased to offer its membership the only Preseason Residential Camp in the Wichita metro area for youth soccer players. This camp targets RUSH players born 2008-2014.
The objective of the camp is to bring players into a residential setting where they can be immersed in the RUSH culture, prior to the start of the club year. This will be the first major event for many teams in the club, following tryouts in early June. Areas of focus will be: RUSH Core Values, team building activities, technical applications, tactical concepts, principles of play, goalkeeping, the numbering system, match competition, and other topics as needed. The camp will be presented in a number of different ways. Campers will have field training, classroom sessions, and an afternoon on Butler Community College's challenge ropes course, Grizzly Adventures.
The camp will be staffed by the KRW coaching staff under the direction of the Technical Director. Camp will take place on the campus of Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS. Campers will stay in Cummins Hall and will have 24/7 supervision and onsite athletic training staff for the entirety of camp.
